I just wanted to thank the organisers of the Deviock Bounder for an excellent race. I also wanted to document the fact that the men’s team finally have something to cheer about that’s worthy of mention in John’s Christmas speech! The men’s team collected their first victory this year led in by an excellent run from Oli Jones (1:02:13) in first place and an equally amazing 3rd place from Bob Brown (1:04:05) fresh back from his Europe trip – I’m not sure how he did that?! The ladies team (Claire Davidson, Amanda Erith, Pat Parritt) also ran to victory by the way – again! Claire Davidson (1:12:38) took the ladies prize. Terry Leech (1:07:43) had one of the most outstanding runs of the day finishing as 1st V45-49 and 9th overall. Terry was second age graded runner on this day. Mark Lintern took the local runners prize.
