A hilly little number- a real lung burner- but great fun. Entered my best friend who was only visiting for the weekend!! Think she'd travelled the furthest: Sydney. I loved the fact that Newquay Road Runners made such a big thing of it as Penny is naturally very unassuming and doesn't seek attention. I'd written on her form "please give me a BIG mention" and they did! She nearly died from embarrassment; I laughed! Like this race. I like ANY race that gives you a pasty at the end of it!
