I agree with Will that this site is worth checking out especially if you haven't got a GPS watch. I have used it a lot and planned my routes.You can either save them as favourites or print them out and I have compared with a GPS and the site tends to be about 10% less in distance as you plot the route in straight lines. Well worth using!!

The following website - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ - might be of interest and use to those wishing to plan routes of the right distance (not so good for terrain, beware!). It is a bit clunky but does the job and only gets easier to work with experience (not true for everything).
click on the address and then type in Liskeard (Jump to) and tag United Kingdom (More options), then Go. You are on your own after that but it is fairly logical.
